Floating Garden

Waterarchitect van Bueren invited me to realize a floating garden made from garbage for the Mizouro House in Taiwan. I managed students and vollunteers to collect styrofoam that had drifted away from oyster farms on the coast and to contruct the garden.

The beachcombed styrofoam was packed together to make a floating base for a green oasis on the Anping chanel. The garden is more than a nice piece of greenery on the water it's also a statement on the amount of waste in it's local environment.
